Project: Educating Rural Women in Haiti for Democratic Citizenship
Evaluation Date: March 2012
Report: [report link]
Lesson Learned:

The project should have included a phase for consolidation of its achievements. This would have helped provide sustainable and real opportunities for women to have a presence in public life. This could have been through an institutional partnership with all pertinent government institutions that participated in the project and should have involved continued social mobilization raising collective social awareness.

Project: Promotion of Women’s Empowerment and Rights in Somalia
Evaluation Date: June 2016
Report: [report link]
Lesson Learned:

Some partners were replaced during the project because they lacked commitment and did not attend meetings. Some of the organizations that were replaced had ceased operations, and in some cases CSOs insisted on nominating unqualified Resource Persons unacceptable to the grantee. Since the CSOs had signed memoranda of understanding with grantee and were considered to be non-performing against these, replacement was relatively smooth.
